About the Blogger

My name is Charlotte Hammond, I’m 19 years old and from Hertfordshire, England. I also have Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyscalculia and Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I am about to go into my first year at university studying Creative Writing, and would like to go into the film/TV industry when I’m older as a writer and director.

In my free time I like to read, write, play music, watch films, make home movies, take photographs, swim, walk my dog, spend time with my friends and family, and learn about British Sign Language, astronomy, dinosaurs, ancient Eygpt and philosophy. My special interest is the film/TV industry and I spend a lot of my time at my local cinema.

  1. Just found your blog… I’m sorry for your struggles, but I admire your openness. I think when people start speaking out about mental health issues it makes the issues incrementally less scary. I’m now following – I’d love to have you check out my battle with bipolar disorder on hazelhillboro.wordpress.com.

    • Hiya, thank you very much! I will definitely check out your blog – Bipolar interests me quite a lot. Maybe it’s something to do with how some of the symptoms of Asperger’s is similar to Bipolar (but obviously not exactly the same).

  2. Charlotte, your blog is currently included on our Actually Autistic Blogs List (anautismobserver.wordpress.com). Please click on the “How do you want your blog listed?” link at the top of that site to personalize your blog’s description.
    Thank you.
